Runold is a mature vampire who was injured by werewolves on the border between Borca and Richemulot. He called for assistance from Alexi, but was refused. Days later, he caputred turned the boy, turning him into one of the undead and using him to extort dominance over the Vistani caravan led by Madam Rosa.[1]
Runold must have many enemies, for he is also be stalked by Nira Delamane, a vampyre who seeks his death as a right of passage.[2]
