Young Caleb

Young Caleb or simply Caleb, is a minor character from Dance of the Dead (Novel). Serving under Captain Raoul Dumont, he was a sailor aboard La Demoiselle du Musarde. With permission from his captain, Caleb was eventually murdered and reanimated as a zombie by Lond. This may have to do with Flowswift attempting to seduce him into retrieving her shawl from Dumont as Dumont later uses the knowledge of Caleb's transformation to intimidate Flowswift from trying anything again. However, Lond and Dumont were conspiring to murder and reanimate a majority of the ship's crew.

As one of Lond's zombies, Caleb retained much of his intelligence (if not personality) and appeared to be live. If he survived the fight between Larissa Snowmane's forces and Londs zombies, he is now under the control of Anton Misroi.
