Alexi Shadowborn

Alexi Shadowborn is the son of Kateri Shadowborn. He trained to join the original incarnation of The Circle, but was rejected when a solar eclipse on the day of his induction indicated Belenus's disfavor. He traveled to Shadowborn Manor with his squire, Ferran Shadowborn, his friend Dasmaria Eveningstar, and the mysterious monk of Brigit, Lysander Greylocks. During this journey, he discovered that Lysander had fathered him, by force, while possessed by Ebonbane. He also discovered that he is a Lodestone Paladin, and was able to capture Ebonbane within himself. He now resides within Shadowborn Manor.

Alexi now lives in stasis within a crystal coffin created by Morgoroth the Black. Ebonbane's strength became too much for him to contain, and Alexi struck a bargain with Morgoroth's assistance. The Knights of the Shadows must renew the strength of the coffin annually with four elemental keys contructed by Morgoroth. This is the reason for their yearly pilgrimage to The Shadowlands.
