Arness' magic mirror is a mirror of mental prowess. However, its transition into the Demiplane of Dread has changed its functions. Its power to Detect Thoughts has faded, and questioning it gives only vague and nebulous replies. It still has the abilities to act as a crystal ball with clairudience and make open a portal to some other location within the same domain once a day.[1]
