The scar curse is a type of Vistani Curse that punishes the cursed or interferes with their life without the intent to harm or kill. The curse is so named for the permanent hindrance (physical or mental) it wreaks upon the afflicted, a constant blemish to remind them of how they wronged the Vistani. Scar curses can usually be broken through the performing of some action or another.[1]
