Pale riders are incorporeal undead Mist Creatures that sometimes answer the cry of people who seek vengeance. Pale riders offer those who gain their attention power to destroy their transgressors. However, if the benefactors of the pale riders' blessings fail to destroy the objects of their vengeance within three nights, the pale riders descend upon those they formerly aided and destroy them.[1]
