Unnamed High Mother as of 626 BC

As of the time of Alexi Shadowborn's Rite of Ascension in 626 BC, an unnamed High Mother presided over the Church of Belenus in the Great Kingdom of Avonleigh. She oversaw his Rite with the usual ritual but spoke warmly of him, at least until the Darkening showed Belenus's disfavor at Alexi joining the Knights of the Circle. The High Mother thus asked Alexi to resign his petition and told him to watch for the inner darkness that lurks within him. In his place, the High Mother promoted Dasmaria Eveningstar, the next-in-line, to the Circle. Given the length of time ago she lived, the High Mother is probably deceased in the current timeline.
