Gideon of Waterdeep

Gideon was an adventurer who resided in Waterdeep. He was part of the Silver Six and an especially close friend to Jander Sunstar. Together they killed the red dragon of the Dales. However, he disappeared soon thereafter in the vampire attack that transformed Merrydale into Daggerdale. The rest of the group were exiled from Daggerdale prior to discovering his fate.[1]

Later, Jander unexpectedly encountered his long lost friend Gideon. Gideon claimed his survival was a miracle from Ilmater. In truth, Gideon had been transformed into a vampire by Cassimar.
