Despite serious attempts on the part of Dr. Victor Mordenheim, golem crafters generally, and others mortals, the creation of life, as opposed to the manipulation of existing life, has remained the preserve of the gods. Attempt to change this state of affairs are viewed by the Dark Powers as transgression and hubris and invite powers checks.
