Theokos is an enigma. He first appeared when Elena Faithhold became darklord of Nidala and welcomed her to her new castle. He is a fiend with the full abilities of a gelugon, but he lacks a reality wrinkle. In addition, he can casts spells as an 11th level priest, with access to druid spells plus the Necromancy sphere. His spellcasting mimics that of priests of Belenus. It is unknown if he is merely a puppet for the Dark Powers or has a truly independent mind.[1]
Since Faithhold's embrace of darkness, Theokos has served as a spiritual guide for Elena and her flock in Caste Nidala, or rather, a corrupter of Belenus's doctrine. He also roots out those true to Belenus' teachings as heretics.[2]
