Though he is a powerful officer of the Falkovnian Army, Marshal Oswald Vorbel is a founder of the Knights of the Ashen Bough. In fact, Vorbel was with Vlad Drakov when he first came to the Land of Mists. Although never fond of Drakov's execesses, Vorbel has seen the failure of Drakov's needlessly brutal policies, and he has become changed. Vorbel founded the Knights in 723 BC.
