Raul Salazar is a Vistani blacksmith of the Kamii tribe. he is the father of Nikko Salazar and husband of Leyla Salazar.^[1] Following Leyla's death, Raul fell into a pattern of mourning by playing the Violin of Passion. The emotional trauma felt over Leyla's death, combined with the mournful music played from the violin, made Leyla rise again as a ghost to haunt both her husband and son.
