Marda is a member of the Vistani, who advised the Circle of Darkness. Whereas the rest of her tribe removed themselves from G'Henna, she remained for a time to give what assistance she could.[1]
Marda is adept with the Tarokka, and she owns a horse named Ivan.[2] She is the half-sister of Callian[1], and aunt of Petchko.
