Lady Adeline

Lady Adeline is an Elf Vampire, who resides within Valachan and is the Baron von Kharkov's chief enforcer of law. She is an Outlander, a Silvanesti elf hailing originally from Krynn. Formerly an adventurer, she was captured by a cult and tortured before being turned into an elven vampire and escaping, being drawn into Valachan and meeting Von Kharkov. The two have an agreement of mutual protection and companionship.

As Von Kharkov seldom exercises his authority directly, Lady Adeline and the Black Leopards act on his behalf to keep order, collect taxes, and make sure the bridal lottery is filled. As Von Kharkov's highest enforcer and tax collector, her sadism is legendary among the people Valachan. Her brutal antics caused multiple rebellions from 680 BC to 730 BC. Given her stats in Children of the Night: Vampires, she may be a fledgling vampire. However, given the length of activity in Valachan, she will become a mature vampire by 780 BC, if not earlier.
