A vampires with this salient ability can conjure 1d4 gargoyles within 1 mile to the vampire's service for a brief time, although they remain in the area under their own control thereafter. A variant of this ability does not require gargoyles to be present but can animate nearby rock and transform it into the gargoyles.[1]
