Salome Merryweather-Smythe

Salome Merryweather, née Smythe, is the daughter of Alois Smythe, the wife of Honored Brother Errol Merryweather of the Fraternity of Shadows, and the mother of Dolor Merryweather, Bertrand Merryweather, and daughter Serenity Merryweather. She is the sister of Michael Smythe and the aunt of Aleister Smythe.

In her youth, Salome wanted very much to join the Fraternity of Shadows under her own power, as her father and brother had done, but was unable to persuade the Fathers of the Fraternity to accept her application. She "settled" for marrying an established member of the Fraternity, bearing his children, and pushing her sons to join as well.
