Ignore Metalref name="VRGtoL p. 31">Van Richten's Guide to the Lich p. 31</ref>, or Metal Immunity[1], is a lich salient ability that allows the lich to, once per day, interact with the environment as if any metal it comes in contact with (armor, Wall of Iron, etc.) did not exist. Spells cast by the lich that affect metal work normally, and magical effects produced by metal objects (such as metallic wands) aren't effected by this ability.[2][1] + This ability also renders the lich effectively immune to weapons. 2nd Edition sources only grant a magic weapons plus as damage[2], whereas 3rd Edition sources say this ability
