Vladimir Nobriskov

Vladimir Nobriskov was a werebat born in a cave on Mount Gries. After his parents were killed by Dr. Rudolph van Richten, Nobriskov moved to Lechberg to keep a better eye on humankind. He adopted the persona of a wealthy nobleman and heartbreaker, and was nicknamed the Scarlet Prince. In this guise, he courted many women, including Monique Pretorius and afterward her sister Gennifer Pretorius. While courting Gennifer, he murdered her sister to preserve his secrets. Count Pretorius, the uncle and guardian of Lady Monique and Lady Gennifer, investigated the matter and discovered Nobriskov's culpability. However, Nobriskov murdered the count as well before he could reveal Nobriskov's secrets to outside parties.

The deaths of Lady Monique and her uncle did not go unavenged. Nobriskov was eventually caught and killed by adventurers. Unknown to everyone, Nobriskov's bite left a lasting mark on Lady Gennifer in the form of lycanthropy. The great bat empathy she inherited from Nobriskov later led her to become a key component in the Night Swarm menacing Mount Gries and the environs, ironically the mountain where Nobriskov was born.
