Ulwaddithri, the Consuming One, is one of the Loa of Souragne[1]. While the Lord of the Dead may be the most feared of the Loa, Ulwaddithri is the most reviled. She embodies poison, disease and famine, the patron of plague and want and the unclean. Most rituals held in her honour are meant to appease her, rather than to call upon her.
