Josef Bierce

A Ghost who was steward of Richten Haus in life. He is the father of Gretta and Elise Bierce. The death of his wife Marlen Bierce in childbirth broke his resolve, causing him to come to hate his existence in the service of the Van Richtens. He later became an embezzler to affod his family a secure future away from Richten Haus, but his theft made him become paranoid. Josef killed Casimir upon suspicion of the theft of Josef's Journal in preparation for blackmail.[1] Josef's bitterness alienated him from Karl Mueller, and Karl later murdered him.[2]
