Bras-Coupé is a Zombie Lord in Louisiana. His greatest desire is to go to Africa. In life, he was an escaped slave who was also known as Squier. After he sustained significant wounds by pursuers, he returned to the house of his friend Francisco Garcia for help. To his surprise, Bras-Coupé found the coffin of Anjelique there. Francisco came in to see Bras-Coupé examining the coffin. Assuming Bras-Coupé had come to steal Anjelique away from him, Fransisco stabbed Bras-Coupé and then turned his corpse in for the reward money. Before he died, Bras-Coupé cursed his former friend
Later someone made an attempt resurrect Bras-Coupé. However, the spell backfired and caused Bras-Coupé to rise as a zombie lord.
