Sara Martigan was the daughter of James Martigan and Sara Martigan. She was in love with Daniel Sherwood, but he was killed in a horse-riding accident. The Phantom Lover preyed on her grief by pretending to be her dead lover. The Phantom Lover manipulated Sara for a time, but he eventually took her life[1]
