According to Leisl's account, Fox was a Barovian criminal and gang leader who recruited children and taught them how to be thieves and steal on his behalf. He recruited Leisl for a time, until her skill began to rival his own. Fox then threw her out.[1]
Given how long ago the events of the Vampire of the Mists occurred, Fox is most likely long deceased.
