Endorovich the Terrible

Endorovich the Terrible is one of the people buried in the catacombs beneath Castle Ravenloft in Ravenloft I6 and House of Strahd. In life, he loved Marya Markovia but she loved another person. Jealous, Endorovich attempted to poison Marya's lover but instead poisoned Marya herself. The lover took the blame and was hanged, but Endorovich's guilt drove him mad, and he killed many people during his life in his madness.[1][2]
Note that Endorovich is a specre in the original I6. In House of Strahd, he is also a spectre, though he is erroneously listed as a wraith if the players in a game recreating the original module experience.[1][2]
