Laureins d’Auvergne is a minor character that appeared in the Ravenloft Dominion novel Black Crusade. He is a French earl and Crusader that was one of the tribunal that presided over trial of heretic priest and murderer Father Lambrecht Raes, whom was ultimately found guilty. He was a friend and associate of Sir Diederic de Wyndt and Baron Joris van den Felle. He was badly injured in the explosion that resulted from Bishop Colaert's attempt to burn the Laginate Grimoire, but Sir Diederic pushed him aside in order to pursue Lambrecht's disappearance into the Mists.[1]
