Bernedikte is a green hag and part of a covey with Bernedikte and (formerly) Ermintrude. Although Ermintrude broke away form their covey to assume the guise of a human adventurer, Bernedikte has rendered Vibeke almost completely submissive to her will. However, Vibeke herself is still very much a manipulator, for she is fond of leaving traps with poisons that induce paralsysis or blindness. Coming upon incapacitated travelers, Vibeke sometimes pretends to be sympathetic and makes offers to heal them. The unfortunates that end up in her "care" rarely comeback without being changed or somehow under her influence. Vibeke has the standard green hag powers and the class abilities of a low-level ranger. Although she is blind, Beneditke has tremorsense 60 ft, but loud noises can disoreintate her.[1]

In this brief module, Benedikte and Verbeke have captured and transformed a traveler into a rampaging monster and unleashed it upon the town of Kevalla. They hope to pin it on Ermintrude and out her as a hag in order to force her into rejoining the covey.[2]
