The Telling Tree

The Telling Tree is, according to legend, an intelligent pine tree located in the Wytchwood in Tepest. The Telling Tree is purportedly a good source of information on the Arak and other fey. In actuality, it appears to be an oaken tree that bears fruit resembling the heads of previous visitors- a fact discovered by Laurie Weathermay-Foxgrove and Nikolas Amthor. The tree was referred to by Laurie as a changeling tree, which is probably another term for a Death's Head Tree. Laurie and Nikolas were attacked by several sith watching over the tree, but Laurie used powdered somnos branch as a bane against the sith. It is unknown if the somnos branch act as a bane specific to these sith or the berries act as a bane to all sith.
