Originating from Dementlieu, the Silver Blade is composed of Lawful Evil, Lawful Neutral and a very few True Neutral Clerics who believe that the Church's mission is being actively sabotaged wherever the goddess's Anchorites go by unbelievers and outright enemies of the faith, not among the Legions of the Night, but secular authorities and entirely mundane people.

The Silver Blade's Clerics are devout believers, but are convinced that the end of glorifying Ezra and bringing all people under her Grace justifies the means -- any means, including using the very powers that Ezra opposes. In the name of their faith, they have engaged in the animating of undead, the creation of flesh golems and even the infecting of innocents with lycanthropy, all for the purposes of very publically murdering people too vocal about refusing the Grace of Ezra, or who they suspect of being enemies of the faith, blasphemers or heretics. The irony being, of course, that they are themselves the symptoms of a vicious heresy.

Anchorites who ally with the Silver Blade can be found in any place a normal Anchorite would, even travelling the world to spread the word of the goddess. The main difference is that in addition to protecting the faithful, they quest to slay the unbeliever. The qabal is currently not large in numbers (roughly thirteen members are known to exist), and it meets on an irregular basis in the catacombs beneath Ste. Mere des Larmes cathedral to discuss their progress to purging the land of unbelievers, as well as add to what they believe shall be the Fifth Book of Ezra; their own. Fortunately, no member of the Silver Blade has manifested a unique manifestation of the Shield of Ezra as of yet, preventing the qabal from claiming independent status.
