The most faithful among Elena Faith-hold's Most Moral. His devotion to Belenus rivals Elena's, much to the suffering of many people of Nidala. Despite Pádraig's apparent elderly age, the blessings of Belenus have granted him a long life and the strength and stamina of a twenty-year-old.[1]
The McElroy family was a noble clan of the province of Nidala when it was part of The Great Kingdom of Avonleigh. In the Land of Mists, at least, only Pádraig remains.[1]
