The most devout among Elena Faith-hold's Most Moral. His devotion to Belenus rivals Elena's, much to the suffering of many people of Nidala. Despite Pádraig's apparent elderly age, the blessings of Belenus have granted him a long life and the strength and stamina of a twenty-year-old.[1]
The McElroy family was a noble clan of the province of Nidala when it was part of The Great Kingdom of Avonleigh. However, in the Land of Mists, at least, Pádraig is the last of his line.[1]
