Noso is infamous for its open pit mines. Arak supported extensive mining prior to the Scourage of Arak. Subsequent to its incorporation into Darkon in 740 BC, dwaven and gnomish miners are beginning to return to that land. The Mountains of Misery generally support significant mining. Vor Ziyden is infamous for its abandonned mines, which from time to time give rise to sinkholes.
