Iadul is the closest equivalent the Barovians have to hell. However, it is hell more in the sense of it being a home for demons rather than a realm where the wicked go after being judged by the gods. As even the wicked go to Refugiu upon death, one must take extraordinary steps to damn himself to Iadul.[1]
