Residing in Mordent, Lucifer Jakes is an inventor and a tinker with a will to assist against the war against darkness. An experiment gone wrong has caused his eyes to become extremely receptive to light, forcing him to wear shaded glasses at day time. His proclivity for leaving his home only at night and the noises he makes in his research have marked him as someone to be distrusted by his neighbors. They call him "the Night Hawk".[1]
