Monochrome is a variation on a Vacancy spell. It drains away colours, leaving shades of grey and rendering ineffective spells such as Color Spray, Hypnotic Pattern, Prismatic Sphere, Prismatic Spray, Prismatic Wall, Prismatic Sphere and Rainbow.
It has been used by Dr. Daclaud Heinfroth.
