Pomath[1] is an ancient dread doppelganger, who died long before Paridon became a Ravenloft domain. The chaos following the merger of Paridon and Timor to form the Zherisia cluster dislodged Pomath's remains, and caused him to awaken as one of the ancient dead. Pomath has been creating a cadre of ancient dead to punish Sodo and its cronies, for Pomath believes Sodo has corrupted doppelganger society.
