In it, he argues there are no living [[god]]s within the [[Land of Mists]], rather that the prayers of the faithful and the abilities of divine spellcasters are granted by [[the Mists]] themselves. In this book he also voices his support for [[the Dead God Theory]] of the Mists<ref>[[Van Richten's Guide to the Mists (Book)]] p. 16</ref>
