Sentire Franklin Tennyson was one of the 12 Mordentish disciples that were converted by Yakov Dilisnya to the Church of Ezra when he visited Mordent. From 689 BC to his death in 700 BC, Sentire Tennyson was an influential figure in the Church of Ezra within Souragne. Although his conversions of the nobility of that land were successful, conversion among the commoners were generally not, for they preferred to venerate the loas, a group of spirits that Sentire Tennyson found not respect for.[1]

After the First Schism in 698 BC, Tennyson adopted the doctrine of the Mordentish Sect. However, the nobles of Souragne seemed to cleave more towards the Lawful Neutral teachings of the Home Faith rather than the more compassionate teachings of the Mordentish Sect. Tennyson's preaching annoyed society to the point that, when he died of malaria in 700 BC, there was a collective sigh of relief.[1]
