I'm not against new and novel ideas. I AM, however, against ideas that are derived solely from semantics arguments, and rules lawyering. I mean, honestly, how does a "fear of undead" fit into the personality of Easan the Mad? Last I checked, Iuz the Old is not the same as Orcus, Prince of ...

Did you not remember that Nosferatu CAN NOT USE THEIR SUPERNATURAL POWERS IN DAYLIGHT?

Also, are you saying that you let your PCs be undead in Ravenloft?

The knight in the prophecy probably refers to a one ex-ranger-turned-mechanical golem, Ahmi Vanjuko that Easan created on a whim, who then demolished Easan's estate as a way of saying "thank you." That, and Vechor strikes me as being one of the few vampire-unfriendly domains. I'm not telli...

I would think that if there was a permanent way of permanently killing Easan, the writers would have said so, or gave us a big hint besides the prophecy mentioned in 2nd Edition among the Vechorians about a knight who will stride forth from the Mists to dethrone Easan, and usher in a far more terrib...

Since everyone's been complaining about how you can't kill Easan Like who? For the most part, I don't here tons of complaints about how hard it is to kill a darklord. It seems kind of lame to me to want to knock them off, especialyl when there are so many good stories to tell about them, or with th...

Do also remember that with those darklords who can only be killed in a specific manner, the aforementioned specific manner is spelled out for us, i.e., destroying Hazlik's amulet, reuniting Tristessa with her baby, laying Romir to rest, slaughtering all of the dire wolves in Kartakass.

A) We're talking about Easan the Mad, not werewolves. I do must remind you that in my opinion, watching, reading or even roleplaying about a werewolf who can shrug off little niggling things like disembowelment, multiple gunshot wounds, and exploding sticks of dynamite, only to die upon the prick of...

It doesn't make any sense for Easan to not be able to survive ability drain, and yet, be able to get over disintegration like it was the flu.

Then how come Easan's write up says that he can regenerate even from being disintegrated?
Why would he not be able to regenerate negative energy or deadly poison, but still be able to pull himself together should his molecules take seperate vacations?

I'm sorry, but I have to throw a monkeywrench into that idea, in that, Easan can not suffer from permanent ability drains.
Every form of damage, and ability loss is temporary with him, irrregardless of the source.

Oni, me-zu oni [Oriental Adventures] "The fires continued to burn unabated, even as the thunderstorm raged on. Some of those fleeing soon noticed a towering figure walking through the great flames. The giant creature had the head of a shaggy horse, and was bedecked in green armor. It waved the...
