Ah, Christmas-the only time I can get the Voices in my Head to stop arguing and sing in twelve part harmony! Must be this Holiday Cheer i've heard about...

And I love the decorative reds and greens...do you think I could leave the severed heads on the tree until mid-January or so, or would that be considered tacky? The silver spikes are so sparkly in the moonlight!
I don't mind the commercialism at all though-the more Salesmen visit me this month the better! If it wasn't for the cheerful, smiling door-to-door salespersons volunteering to assist, i'd have never gotten the tree decorated in time...or the couch re-covered, the pantry refilled, a new leather jacket, soap for all my relatives, extra clothing to donate to charity(only slightly soiled!) new lampshades for Mom...
