EDIT-
Listen DC 15. I'm assuming that no one is trying to eavesdrop, but sometimes you just hear things. And sometimes you don't.

He's heard it said that many Invidians dislike gypsies, but isn't sure how pervasive that attitude really is. He has heard various stories of how the new Invidian government persecutes the Vistani; arbitrary arrests, expulsion of gypsies from the towns, the burning of vardos.Brock Marsh Runoff wrote:What, if anything, would Dorgio know about Invidian attitudes towards half-vistani?
If you'd like to conceal Dorgio's Vistani heritage while in Invidia, I'll make a secret disguise roll for you. This would represent Dorgio paying close attention to his dress, speech, and manners.

And trimming down his big bushy eyebrows. Definitely no riding in big wagons. Tarokka reading and mysterious googly eyes are also right out.ewancummins wrote:He's heard it said that many Invidians dislike gypsies, but isn't sure how pervasive that attitude really is. "Of course," Benn mutters, "It would be a damned shame if we ever knew what the hell was actually going on."

Karim and the Stranger now have their own mini-scene. We'll see if Van is able to post soon.
I'm assuming that it occurs across the taverna from where the rest of the party is conferring. It may be that not all of you immediately notice it. It isn't as if anyone is yelling or throwing punches.

Well, in that your only marketable skill as far as I'm aware is the ability to be locked inside a crate, I wasn't going to speak for him.tarlyn wrote:Adam did you forget the stranger is there or is Benn ignoring him? Just curious. He is with you fellers at the same table.

A note-
Remember Wat's native tongue is like archaic Darkonese with some Mordentish vocabulary in the mix.
Wat's command of Mordentish is limited. Sometimes he may ask odd questions, misread or just miss idiom, etc.
Alain has an easier time than most of you in understanding the curious native tongue of Wat, Ottokar, and the other folks from the Wood.
Benn, having had the opportunity to study that old lexicon, has also begun to get it.

You are all in the same tavern, but not all in the same immediate area.Rafael wrote:Sorry, it's my fault again - is Dofur with Ben or with Karim? Or are both at the same place?
Dofur is with Benn, Wat, Alain, and Dorgio. The bluecoat LT is also with you all.
Karim and the Stranger are across the room, talking with other folks.

I tried to send this link to Raf, but it didn't work. Seems to work fine from here, though.
Warning , it is one of those movie trailers that contains a few possible spoilers.
