Naw, it makes sense.
There was all that wink wink nudge nudge. We'd already established that you made this conncetion, and it was not a problem then, so it's good now.
Way to humanize Benn for the gendarmes.
Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.
It's been a very long day and night for most of the PCs- and the night isn't over yet. Alain had a chnace to take a nap. Most of the PC have not rested since last night/early morning.

considering Galandel is being left alone in his cell, he will just do his meditation and be rested.
History prefers legends to men. It prefers nobility to brutality, soaring speeches to quiet deeds. History remembers the battle and forgets the blood. What ever history remembers of me if it remembers me at all, it shall only be the fraction of the truth.

He is no longer alone.

well that is unfortunate, both for himself and those who beating him.
Honorless humans, can't even obey their Captain.
If Galandel does die, he will have to come back as some evil spirit who hunts and skins humans.

At this point, I'd like to know what each PC will likely be doing for the rest of the night. Presumably most of them will want to rest/sleep a full night (will avoid fatigue penalties for the next day). It's been a LOOOOOONG day, after all. This is still the night of the day that you all arrived in the city, remember.

Karim will stay up at the inn for some time and have some fun with the woman (if she is in to it) or otherwise will just stay with Ottokar and his friends. Then he will sleep.

Noted.
I hace edited a cutscene/flashback for continuity/chronology reasons- it has no great effect on play, though.

Thibault rushes through the parlor, headed for the stairs.
You follow.
When you get to the top you behold a ghastly scene by the light of an oil lamp that rests of the floor:
Jonathon stands in the doorway of Evie's room, bloody hands lifted up, an expression of terror and mad exultation on his face.
His words echo down the shadowy hallway.
''I keep my promises!''

You know, somehow "I TOLD YOU SO" just doesn't quite say it.

I never did like that kid.
"Of course," Benn mutters, "It would be a damned shame if we ever knew what the hell was actually going on."
I will be at the computer most of the afternoon, working on papers.
By all means, post away- I'm leaving this tabe open so I can check and update as needed.
