Total 5 wow!

Did Karim have time to free his weapons before the init? I think in Richmulot you should have piece nod to the weapons right?
Karim can draw weapons as a move action and still attack if the guys get close- which they will.

In Richemulot, the weapons laws vary by locality. Each city sets its own rules. In Pont-a-Museau, the laws are fairly loose. Peace-bonding is not always required. Shops may have policies banning or controlling weapons and armor, but it is legal to go about the streets armed in most parts of town. Heavy armor, large groups of armed men, etc may draw attention from the gendarmes.
Being apprehended for a serious crime while carrying a concealed weapon may get you in trouble as a suspected 'assassin'.

a 12

That beats Benn's 9

AoO on Benn from behind as he's casting the spell-

Sneak attack follow up (regular attack this round)-

http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2699664/

Two 15s. With Benn flanked/hit from the rear while casting, those will hit.

Damage:

5

SA adds 1 point.

and 14 more for a total of 20 points damage.

Only one other guy can get in to attack Benn, due to the narrow space in the alley. This will be the guy in Benn's front. He runs up and swings his club-

Close!

I figure Benn would have his breastplate, as Jon is on the loose.
Thus, the frontal attack didn't get him, but the backstabs did.

Benn has 10 hp left, out of his original 30.

Roll to get that spell off, please.

Well, according to the SRD the DC is 10+damage+spell level, making this DC....31. So let's check if I rolled a 20....nope. Ok, wasted round then. Sigh. Well I guess it's been a good run.
"Of course," Benn mutters, "It would be a damned shame if we ever knew what the hell was actually going on."

I hate to meta, but I would point out that the other foreigner in our group is about to be hung for drawing weapons and attacking people in the street, guys. I'm just saying.

Is the alley blocked off behind me? Can I withdraw to the street, or heal myself and chance the AOOs to run past the guy behind me? I somehow doubt they'll want to attack me in broad daylight.

They have you boxed in, but you might be able to slip past while drawing AoOs, yes.

16 points of damage to Dorgio.

We may assume that his armor just saved his life.

On a related note, yesterday I saw dead rat in my garden and thought of Jon. :D

I gotta hand it to you Rob, for about a couple of months there before Evie's death I was convinced OOC that I was wrong about Jon. Poor, guilt-tripped Dorgio!
