Re: CONFIRMED: Ravenloft for 5th Edition
Question about the 14 Adventure league adventures: Can they be played randomly, out of order or they have to be in order? I.e. could I decide I put #X,Y,Z in my campaign and not the rest?
Are the PCs supposed to be in Ravenloft in most of them? Or there's the mist-duction option in most?

Re: CONFIRMED: Ravenloft for 5th Edition
Heard something about that in one of the podcasts. I think they said you don't have to play all of them, although they are connected. Don't know about out of order, but you can skip some. Also that once you play in organized play in Barovia, you can't play out of Barovia until you find a way out.alhoon wrote:Question about the 14 Adventure league adventures: Can they be played randomly, out of order or they have to be in order? But since they are designed for any random group of strangers to sit down and play immediately, I'm sure any DM worth his or her dice could massage them to fit their own campaign without much trouble.

Re: CONFIRMED: Ravenloft for 5th Edition
It's encouraged that they be played in order, since there are elements that tie one story to others. For example, I inserted clues in "The Ghost" that are followed up on in "The Innocent." That said, you can pull, delete, and rearrange any elements you like for your own campaigns. It may take you a bit longer to adapt them for out-of-order play, compared to adapting earlier AL seasons.alhoon wrote:Question about the 14 Adventure league adventures: Can they be played randomly, out of order or they have to be in order? That would be telling. Are the PCs supposed to be in Ravenloft in most of them?
Yes. If you want to adapt one or more of these adventurers for home use and simply drop the PC into the Mists, that's covered in the intro notes for the DM.Or there's the mist-duction option in most?
Yes to all this.Gonzoron of the FoS wrote:Also that once you play in organized play in Barovia, you can't play out of Barovia until you find a way out.

Re: CONFIRMED: Ravenloft for 5th Edition
Gary Con is coming up this week. Chris Perkins will be running a Ravenloft adventure as part of the Adventurers League. And I will be one of the players at the table!

<----- Very jealous of Mangrum, but even more crazy jealous of the other players at that table, who get to play IN Chris Perkins' game WITH John Mangrum.
Who are the other players? Tracy Hickman? Steve Miller? Cindi Rice?

Re: CONFIRMED: Ravenloft for 5th Edition
The Tarokka deck has the best Ravenloft art IMO for the past 12 years, if not more. Since I'm not going to pay 15+ euros for transportation, I'll probably get the images (WotC gives them for free) and send them to a printshop to make and laminate.
