idea: a doman with many darklords ruling over small parts of a bigger land, base on some of grimm fary tales.
mabe twist some of them to make the heroes evil.

I dunno. We already have a lot of this already. We have an eternally sleeping beauty named Aurora, three hags in a forest, an assortment of bogeymen....
Is there a specific fairy tale? You sure you just want Grimm, no Perrault or any others?

The Avariel has borrowed wings,
The Puppeteer must cut the strings
The Orphan Queen must take the throne
The Queen of Orphans calls them home

i meant ones we have not done, or can add to one land. other fairy tales are fine.
like this: little red riding hood, the wolf (werewolf or something else?) was in a forbidden relationship with red, and while savage and controlling of red, was not evil (neutral really).
red was the real evil, she convinced the wolf to murder for her, the last victim was her grandmother. when the woodsmen found them in grandmas home, red panicked and played damsel in distress, leading to the woodsman killing the wolf. red filled with grief, despair and madness toke a knife to the woodsmen. the mists calmed her

My Red is the daughter of Arkon Lukas and she lives in Tepest with her paternal grandmøther. Tepest houses also my versions of Cinderella, Rapunzel and Snow White

hasel and gretel: the witch was killed not only to save her brother but to take her power.
gretal now has the power of the witch, having found her spellbook and watching her for months
hansel having almost died from the witch, was made gretals familer/guard (think the huntsmen) to save his life.
thay went on to exact revinge on their family, then just people in general befor the mists got them.

Re: Grimmhold:land of many farytail darklords
The Kingdom of Fairhafen (from Quoth the Raven #15) is the omnifairy tale (or at least Western ones like Grimm, etc.) domain. Its core story is like Sleeping Beauty, with an evil queen darklord whose curse is to never be rid of her comatose step daughter. Thereby, the evil queen is prevented from ever ruling in her own right. Other fairy tales getting representation include Hansel and Gretel, Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Red Riding Hood, and others, though they are often referred to hidden in the text yet in fairly straight takes on the fairy tale source material rather than your dark interpretations that twist the narratives or even flip the scripts on their heads. I would encourage you to continuing developing new strange and dark twists for your versions, as well as possibly adapting some more obscure tales and legends.

this is my take on Tepest and various fairytale's characters.
Re: Grimmhold:land of many farytail darklords
Not a darklord, but Godfather Death would be perfect for a Sith Shadow Fey.
