The catch with the Krynn calendar it is that Ansalon is in the southern hemisphere, and yet they have Winter occurring in their December-February equivalents when it is really Summer down here.
Thinking it over, would weather effects stop at domain boundaries? If a heavy thunderstorm heads south through Darkon would it peter out when arriving at Falknovia, or would it continue merrily on it way?
Someone sent me a postcard picture of the earth. On the back they had written, "Wish you were here."

Personally, seeing as I don't subscribe to the idea that Ravenloft should feel like a natural world, weather effects cross borders normally...until they shouldn't. A storm in Darkon probably crosses into Falkovnia or other domains with ease because few of the core domains have strict weather conditions or patterns. But if a domain was explicitly a dry place with little rain, then storms would miraculously always push in a different direction or break up just before crossing into the domain.

If they can cross borders, it could have some very interesting effects on domains bordering the Shadow rift.
An ordinary storm in starts in Borca heads north east and slips into the Shadow Rift. When it finally arrives in Tepest the clouds are green, mad faces can be seen in the clouds, and the rain smell foul.
