Oh feel free to scale them down or to make them as totally surrounded by the mist when a coast hasn't been indicated and feel also free to put them in whatever cluster you think they fit. I will be honoured.

It´s Inkarnate (https://inkarnate.com/). Web based, lots of tools, layers, HD maps and easy to use for unexerienced guy like me. I did also Nevuchar Springs and Ludendorf for my prevous campaign, but they are not that accurate and detailed as Karina.

I've uploaded a map at full scale. It's huuuge but reading places names should be easier now.
https://mega.nz/file/3uZFmSrQ#x8IA1a-kz ... 7EaUNNS2Kc

I've put a world's end, as in a famous movie ^^. Don't ask me what's the darlord, i've no idea yet, as for the tower of the watcher, the stormbringer and the boundless abyss. For the maw, i don't know what it is but a monster creating a vortex leading everything in it to his mouth seemed to be a good idea, even if its just a legend.
I put the Raging Tears coming from the book of sorrow. I was thinking about putting floating isles in the abyss, as if the world was collopsing or building itself, with a golden city on the biggest of them. They would be tied together by Yatchunka's roots and travel across them would be terribly dangerous but it would perhaps be to high fantasy. I don't know.

Taking the better part of the week, this is perhaps my biggest project to date, a cluster of domains reflecting fairy tale and folk tale motifs (not necessarily limited to real world fairy tales). The file is quite large (6-7 megs). I'm tentatively calling this one the Storytimes Cluster. Think of this as a possible world you could end up if you read the Tome of Terror (the storybook artifact from Forged of Darkness)
VIEW CONTENT:
Image
Domains I've taken from other Ravenloft sources:
-Collodi was done by Mistmaster.
-Fairhafen, arguably to this cluster what Barovia is to the main Ravenloft setting. is from QtR 15
-The Harrowed Realm is from the Pathfinder module the Harrowing and is highly strange even by this cluster's standards, its characters all representing some manifestation of the Harrow cards (PF's answer to the tarot/tarokka deck)
-Huninfjord is from Midway Haven's Navigaccio. The darklord will probably be changed to something more enigmatic, probably resembling the Snow Queen of the fairy tale of the same name.
-The Isle of the Winds and its darklord King Magnus are briefly described in QtR 26 p. 122 (Another Hundred Shades of Dark #30)
-Jonenmark is from Alanik Ray's Archive. It seems to have a little bit of that fairy tale feel in that the darklord was fundamentally a normal man who I could see be a fairy tale pro or antagonist while alive.
-Okraina is from QtR 2
-Risibolos is from the Book of Crypts. It's nature seems very fairy tale like, although I will change it somewhat away from everybody saying "hahaha" after every line to everybody always having to be jovial and humorous.
-Rothbart the domain is largely made up from whole cloth, though Von Rothbart is taken from Swan Lake and he was made into a darklord in one of the "Hundred Shades of Dark" articles.

Jotenheim, Lethe, and the Tiny Kingdoms are all new. Jotenheim represents a place for all the horrible giant to come from and largely represents a mystery to humanity. Lethe is my nod to all of the various fairy tale-inspired horror and monster hunter shows and is led by an aloof association of monster hunters and lorekeepers.

The Tiny Kingdoms represent my answer to the place of origin for all those royals that pop up in fairy tales- a bunch of independent kingdoms in name mostly. A lot of the terrain is left blank for filling in later- the Fields of Battle represent places where the Tiny Kingdoms (or others of the cluster) war with each other and could represent any form of terrain. If one were inclined, this could be the domain of Honeytongue (QtR 25 p. 85-86, #58)

I like the thematic of the cluster and i will be honest, i didn't saw some of them coming.
I already said i like Collodi, i would just like to see Maligno having a biger place in the main story of the domain.
The Harrowed is the main one i didn't saw coming. Well done, very good and weird idea. I suppose the Darklord of the domain is the darklord of the Tarroka ? Anyway, this idea is simply awesome.
For Huninjord, i remember Dragon Magazine having an article about an Ice Queen (perhaps too high level for Ravenloft), i'll look at it.
The Isle of wind is a tragic story. Perhaps taking some inspiration from the Fisher King legend would help flesh it out.
I don't remember Jonenmark, i would need to read it.
Risibilos was remade in the Nocturnal Sea gazeeter. What kinf of modifications are you planning ?

For Jotenheim, you can take inspiration from The Storm King Thunder (D&D) or Giants Slayers (Pathfinder). I would put flying castles (Jack's story). Oh ! Their was a scaneri in Dungeon about a flying castle in Ravenloft but i don't remember the title...

Imo, i would place this cluster in the Nightmare Lands but not under the power of the Nightmare Man. A cluster made of Mindscapes (coming from Pathfinder, a creation in the etheral made by a powerful mind, spirit, anything in fact). A kind of place that can be accessed only by dreaming about it or reading a book (or being absorbed by it ^^), listening to a story etc... In this case i would put two other domains, one based on Peter Pan (their is a thread here about it) and another based on the Alice's Wonderland (Alice's Madness games). And, after thinking about it, rewrite Davion the Mad to place him inside.
Or you could use it as the Ravenloft's Feywild (D&D) or First World (Pathfinder), in this case, the land is more untamed and wild, populated by classical fairies (not araks).
It could also let DMs make more weird and fantasy toned stories. Using the real fairytales endings Disney always rewrite. Writing this sentence made me think about the Beauty and the Beast.
And where is the Dragon ^^ ? A princess is always taken away by a dragon ! It can be the one from Nidala for example, people think about him everytime so, it's Ravenloft, if people think it's true, so be it...

Imo, in any case, i would separate it from the mainland, it's too weird (in a good way) and different in tone. It could really surprise jaded players.

I almost am considering making Collodi and Odiare as different entities, perhaps one spawning the other, as I like the expansiveness of Collodi while also enjoy the cut-off, desperate, and isolated themes of Odiare. Keeping Maligno in Collodi could definitely warrant an increased role of Maligno as has been expressed in the Collodi thread, although I might have Maligno also secretly wanting to subvert/take over the Coachman's operations- though perhaps more for reasons of self-glorification than greed. Perhaps justifying it to himself by making the existing framework safer for kids and putting it into theiir service.
The Harrowed is the main one i didn't saw coming. Well done, very good and weird idea. I suppose the Darklord of the domain is the darklord of the Tarroka ? Anyway, this idea is simply awesome.
Give the Harrowed Realm's strange and twisted nature, I figured it would be a good analogue for Wonderland, hence its inclusion. The Darklord would seem to be the obvious choice for a darklord, though I think I would go with a combination/subfaction of the various tarokka characters as co-darklords. [/quote]
For Huninjord, i remember Dragon Magazine having an article about an Ice Queen (perhaps too high level for Ravenloft), i'll look at it.
If you could find an issue number, that would be helpful.
I don't remember Jonenmark, i would need to read it.
You can read about it here: http://fraternityofshadows.com/AlanikRa ... Places.pdf starting at about page 195.

The basic story of the darklord, Karl Britter, is that he was a fairly unexceptional individual compare to most people who would become darklords, a skilled trader who fathered numerous children. The strain of providing for them all drove him to increasing illicit ways of ensuring revenue, including the murder of his rivals. As suspicion fell upon him, he murdered his partner to cover up the evidence. Yet the walls kept closing in, and he ultimately killed his wife and children in a reflective fit of anger. His story remind me of the old woman who lived in a shoe story, after a fact.
Risibilos was remade in the Nocturnal Sea gazeeter. What kinf of modifications are you planning ?
There are a number of solutions to fixing the problems with Risibilos. As written, it's a fairly one-note and goofy place good for a single adventure or even encounter. Doerdon is stone-faced and doesn't do much. The FoS seems to have addressed this by killing of Doerdon (a natural outcome of the module) and making the more colorful personality, Puncheron, as Doerdon's successor. And the domain Doerdon existed as a king in self-name only as the ruler of a single village of a hundred souls.

Although these are good interpretations/developments for the domain, my preference is a little bit different. I liked the intro flavor text that describes a ridiculously large hill somewhat packed with farms and tiny thorps scattered about, hence the somewhat more expansive design in the map above. I also have reinterpreted the "hahaha" rule more figuratively to mean that the presence of mirth and merriment must be present in all interactions, like the Twilight zone episode "It's a Good Life". And humor is taken to such a high art form that there is an elaborate curriculum of academic and professional canon regarding its use by humorists, jesters, and so on like in Discworld and some of its video games (think about how somber the jester's guild is compared to the more colorful and lively assassin's guild). So for Risibilos, humor is a "very serious business". Doerdon himself is a man highly notorious for being unable to tell a joke, but is so much of a narcissist that he refuses to admit how colorless he makes his kingdom. The above apparatus is his attempt to show otherwise. Basically, the parable is the dangers of not being able to laugh at oneself.
The one with the werebats? That's the Baron's Eyrie in Dungeon #58. I'll have a look at the other stuff.
Or you could use it as the Ravenloft's Feywild (D&D) or First World (Pathfinder), in this case, the land is more untamed and wild, populated by classical fairies (not araks).
Definitely what I had in mind for the Storytimes cluster is that it is a place whose existence is somewhat removed from the rest of Ravenloft. As I mentioned previously, the default idea I had in mind was via reading the Tome of Terror, a cursed storybook artifact from the 2e Ravenloft sourcebook Forged of Darkness. The Storytimes cluster could fit into either the Nightmare Lands or the Feywild as whatever one would prefer. I might keep it separate from either, as fey or the like is only the main theme in one or two of the domains. And the Nightmare Lands is a place of sleeping and dreams, whereas reading or telling stories is more about conscious processes. However, there is significant overlap, which is there's probably at least mistways between the Storytimes cluster and the Feywild and the Nightmarelands.

In my thinking, Wonderland is somewhat represented by the Harrowed Realm. The Field of Dreams is a euphemism the locals in Lethe use for the poppy fields.
It could also let DMs make more weird and fantasy toned stories. Using the real fairytales endings Disney always rewrite. Writing this sentence made me think about the Beauty and the Beast.
This was my intention, though I've also working on clusters for straighter high fantasy (albeit with the usual dark themes). I would also go with the un-Disneyified interpretations unless the Disney versions would offer a particular important nuance/twist or expectation to subvert.
And where is the Dragon ^^ ? A princess is always taken away by a dragon ! It can be the one from Nidala for example, people think about him everytime so, it's Ravenloft, if people think it's true, so be it...
My default would have it hail it from the mountain caves of Rothbart (as I consider it here as the default monsterish kingdom place), though some place in Jotunheim or the western edges of the Tiny Kingdoms could also be possible.

I almost finished the Golden Peninsula. And after uploading it, i remebered King Gore. I forgotte to put him in it ^^. Again.
https://mega.nz/file/fmZk0IqL#uwLbXail0 ... VcwuIlj3nE

Itlimac, the lost vale is coming from Eberron. A dark jungle full of head hunting Drows but since i don't know the setting very well, a little help would be welcomed.
Azcanta is coming from plane Shift Ixalan, it's the merfolk sea city as Adanta, the legion of dusk foothold in the peninsula. The vampires will have problems to feed and they can even have drank all living humans in their armies, since they're cut off their main nation and had to rise bodies from the dead to gather crews.
The Sea of the Lost Souls has a darklord and a big one, staying hidden for now, gathering her power back after being killed for the third time. In fact, i'm planning to link all seas of ravenloft using a deep trench rift illiuminated by lava, with glowing flora and deep water fauna and a hungry darklord, eagier for revange. Can be cool.
Perhaps i'll use the stormbringer as a soul collector for her, as the flying dutchman in the pirate movies.

Regarding Ichaltaxl and the Serpent's Skull AP, if you intend to use the AP lore as with Katapesh and its genie darklord, you may wish to expand the domain to include the other AP relevant locations (Tazion, Saventh-Yi, etc.) or create suitable replacements to get full use out of the AP material. If you place King Gore's domain nearby, Ruthazek could be servant or rival residing in Gore's domain.

Sure, if you had any ideas, please feel free to share. I had considered a number of ideas, but hadn't come to any real decisiona. Storykeeper and Serpents Fork from Quoth the Raven 17 could fit into the Black Forest of Fairhafen, although that domain is a floating pocket. Karpador (the frog prince from QtR 26 p. 116 #1 in "Another 100 Shades of Dark") is operating in the swamps along the borders of Fairhafen, Rothbart, and the swamp kingdom, but I didn't make him a darklord mostly for preference of him being a wanderer. The anime/manga series "Monster" was another potential source of inspiration, but I haven't made any firm choices for it either.

After my annual holidays, i'm back with the final Golden Peninsula map, full size, with the King Gore domain, named Tapayaxi. With biiiig trees and, as the Lesser Evil adviced, populated using the Serpent's Skull AP.
https://mega.nz/file/KmZFHK4I#lrobRY0Wu ... giA7f71qak

I'm working on the Burning peaks right now. I'll create a new thread for it because... it'll be a high level cluster, even fit for Epic level characters and i find it hard to create a horror fealing with this kind of NPCs so advices will be useful. I'm using old, even obscure characters coming from Greyhawk. I've almost finished Kas's "faction" storyline and goal.

Below is a map of the Shadowlands cluster, based on the map in the 3rd Edition campaign setting bu also with details from Islands of Terror (Primarily in diversifying some of the terrain) and the Mordent Cartographic Society's map (the three noncanon towns). Some of the locations (Shadowborn Manor, the Dolmens, and Forenoon Abbey) are all arbitrarily located and could easily be put elsewhere in the Phantasmal Forest, but that's okay giving the shifting nature of the forest. For this one I haven't drawn any borders as they've always been ambiguous for this cluster.

One concept I like about the Shadowlands cluster is the potential for mini "pseudo-domains" or "pearls in the oil", as commented here by John Mangrum: http://www.fraternityofshadows.com/foru ... 9973#89973

Basically, these quasidomains are populated by beings tied to the Shadowborn family that Ebonbane is responsible for corrupting. Forenoon Abbey is one of the examples. Unfortunately, I couldn't think of anything really good to include for mapping purposes here, so if anybody has any suggestions let me know:

Looks like you got everything canon. What's the "Hall of Shields"?

Here's the Nidala map I made for my campaign, if you're at all interested. (just an alter from the 3e map with more non-canon towns)
http://themistway.com/pics/nidala.jpg
I also named the rivers, I think. (I may have pulled the names from somewhere, but I don't recall.)
I went with the "pearls in the oil" theory too, which is why I didn't put Forenoon Abbey in a fixed place on the map.

That makes sense. I more or less just wanted a quick ready to go placement for Forenoon Abbey and the Manor. The Hall of Shields is a secret observatory ran by the Celestines (mentioned in Undead Sea Scrolls 2002, p. 129).

I like your naming and placement of the villages and such in your map, wherever you happened to have gotten them.
