In the Mistworld, Kargatane is a popular nickname for the Karg Agents of Trouble Solving, KargATS, which can be both monstruos and not.

In my campaign, I had at least one part of the Kargatane calling themselves "The Immortals" so as to seduce immortality seekers in without obvious connection to the Kargat.

I believe the Kargatane don't know they are called "The Kargatane", this is a word coined by their Kargat vampire masters. A selected few of each vampire's inner circle called "The second circle" communicate with their vampire master directly and drink of the vampiric blood.

The simple normal people tempted by the suggestion of immortal life creating a cell around a member of the second circle are referred to as the outer rim and they never encounter Kargat vampires directly nor drink of vampire blood, they do drink goat blood though or of other animals and sometimes even human blood.

Someone called it in a previous post a vampire "pyramid scam", as in pyramid scams no one knows they are being taken advantage of or else they wouldn't participate. And every different cell under the leadership of a second circle member probably has another name for their organization if they actually have one.

Guilible NPC- "I think I am going to crash at the crypt basement party tonight are you joining?".

Sceptical NPC- "I don't know that Yorgi fellow gives me the creeps and what about all that blood drinking stuff... eough!"

Guilible NPC- "I think you are mistaken... did you try the blootwurst they had the other day?...just... A-M-A-Z-I-N-G...to die for... And by the way Yorgi is a really cool guy...and you know what... that blood-drinking-thing really works, Yorgi is the same age as my father and looks even younger than me!"

Sceptical NPC-"Oh Really? oh... I thought it was one of those stuff some people do, not me, that supposedly keep you healthy. Like drinking your piss every morning..."

Guilible NPC-"Oh that works too!"

Right, what I meant was that this was the cover name this particular Kargat contact used with his minions down his own pyramid.
