5/5/2005! ! !

Tomorrow it will be Thursday 5 May 2005.
Why I believe this is important? You now Greek is an ancient language, so here it is. . .
Thursday in Greek is named Pempti that translates in English as “Fifth” (as it is the 5th day of the week).
So tomorrow, it is 5/5/05 and the day is named 5th in an exotic, ancient language! This is once-in-a-lifetime situation. In 5/5/55 (in 50 years) the day will not be the fifth.

So if you were in an ancient, obscure, arcane cult that wants to preserve its leaders and give them eternal life (as mummies of course) when would be the prefect time to do the ritual of transforming the 5th one of the leaders? But of course, tomorrow at 5.55 am. This would certainly bring the afforementioned leader back as a 5th magnitude mummy.

And also if a lottery like Joker ends tomorrow, and you have to guess a special number, go and play 5 as the magic number.

God... I remember back in high school when the entire place was buzzing that the world was supposed to end on 7:00 one evening. When it didn't end, a large number of people tried to use it as an excuse for not having homework done.

Yes but today isn't only a coincidence in the numbers (5/5/2005) it is also that this "five" day is also called "Fifth"!

Sometimes I wish all those who fervently believed in the Rapture *would* get removed already, so the rest of us can attempt to undo the damage they've done.
