BTW, what basic outline would you suggest as an outline for the book?

- Another tavern populated by a horde of wackos?

- The prisoners of Dru's torture chamber?

How about "Patrons of the Night" as you get the nuit/night connection and the fact that we're often referred to as patrons of the cafe, plus it's a play on the "Children of the Night" series.

As for an outline for the book, look for unique individuals from the setting, these could be people, monsters, undead, goldfish(?), etc. Anything so long as the npc is unique and not a new type of creature (though an new type of creature that only has one member to its race would also be fine so long as they are protrayed as an npc). Just look to the Children of the nights books for the characters and the MGN for more referrence for an outline to the book.

If you wish, you could allow people to attach short adventures to their characters (though do not make it manditory, just a nice option for people to choose if they wish).

If you want a common theme for each character, that is fine, if you don;t (opening the lone up to a greater audience and menagerie of possible characters), that is fine too.

I'd like to put in a majot basic outline,but I don't really know which... Just a Ravenloftian event to which these characters gather...

I myself would contribute three articles, even with short suggestions how to insert the characters into a campaign...

I also like to say thanks for keeping Ravenloft alive. I've never really played a campaign but I do like to read all available material about Ravenloft. That's why I miss the modules. I've read nothing new about Strahd for...how long? Years and years....1994 with 'Tales Of Ravenloft' I think.

Productwise, it was CotN: Vampires, which was 1997, I think, and I, Strahd: The War Against Azalin was 1999. But I agree, I miss the modules too.

The reworking of Megan Llewelyn was lost long ago when my PC blew up, I never got round to rewriting it. I do know the story well, but if I was to submit to the new book, it would be something new than something I write a few years ago. It is only fair

I have a few ideas for characters, it is just getting the privacy to work on them (something difficult to get when the only working pc in the house is currently in the dining room).

I had to live that way for years, too...

Well, it put me and my parents *closer*...
