Angel Pajaro

Post by Drinnik Shoehorn »

I'm converting Angel Pajaro (the werefox from CotN:Werebeasts) and was wondering what people think her levels should be. I was thinking Exp2/Sor1 or Exp2/Brd1.

I would be inclined to say bard, but sorcerer is the favoured class for werefoxes. Either or could work, it only depends on what kind of challenge you want to present.
The Remnants have one saying to represent loss, disappearance, exile, and death. It is Shiao Marests, "Taken by The Shadows".

I want her to be a threat, but not a machine.

Looking at the CR for a werefox, I'll probably make her a Sor1.

CR4 is too high for a level 1 party. I think it will work because her lycanthrope won't be contagious: no human or elven females in the party.

She does need as many ranks in perform as possible so I'd go for Exp2 at the least with emphasis on that.

But she needs a modicum of spellcasting talent for the adventure to work.

Unless she hires help...

Interesting...

Perhaps a level in Adept in addition to her level in Sorcerer level, then add the 2 levels in Expert. Would still be about CR 3 at the most with those classes ;)

Well, the werefox template adds +2 to her CR, and they are only 1st level, so she will be a tough villain.

Perhaps Exp1/Brd1 is the way to go.

It seems the best way to go. Depends how tough you want to make it for them though.
